CHRIS DAVIES

I have been a member of the club, together with my wife Jean, since May 2016 when I purchased my first Mercedes, a pre-face lift R170 SLK 230 Kompressor as a sunny day toy which I have since sold on to another club member. I now own a 2006 R230 SL500 and a 2021 W205 C63S Premium Plus Estate, both of which put a smile on my face when driving. I retired in 2019 after almost 42 yrs in the Petrochemical industry at a Cheshire refinery where 27 of those years were spent in the Inspection & Integrity Dept as a Senior Inspection Engineer of pressure equipment and also being the department Quality Manager responsible for the management and upkeep of the ISO accredited quality system. I haven’t done this type of role before but I’m hoping my team leader experiences from the past will stand me in good stead to keep the Wales, North & Borders region an active and interesting region for all members.
